I didn't make that map ^^ I just borrowed it from the internet, I cleaned it up a bit, added some lakes and rivers, and changed the names to fit our Wrozan.

Anyway, I'm almost done with Thanatos. I'll be posting it before chapter 9. Which means I'll be allowing players to travel there once it's finished.

IMPORTANT UPDATE for 2-H weapon users!

2-Handed Weapons (2-H): Are usually Great Swords, Pole arms, Bow and Arrows, etc... They have a different damage scale and they will require both hands to be wielded. 2-H weapons have a damage scale of 2.25. Which means you need to multiply the weapon's base damage by 2.25. However, there's a penalty to using 2-H weapons. It increases the MOVES cost of ALL Attacks, Spells and Skills by 1 (Excluding: Transformation, (B) & (N) type Skills).

Normally I don't give suggestions but I'm in a really nice mood today. For 25% more weapon damage, compared to dual wield, your move penalty doesn't really give enough justice for 2-H weapon users.

Let me show you what I mean.

PLAYER A is a STR build. His STR is 1000, he has two weapons both STR with 500 stats each. His overall battle STR is 2000, with both weapons.

PLAYER B is also an STR build with 1000 STR, but instead of Dual wielding he uses a 2-H weapon with 1125 STR (same level and tier as player A). His overall battle STR is 2125.

Already we can see that the damage is not that big of a deal but the MOVE penalty is. for 125 more STR PLAYER B loses 1 MOVE for every Attack Action and skill, which is a bit unfair.

Here's what I suggest. 2-H weapons can retail the Move penalty, but their damage needs to be increased by a lot more. I'm not really good with math so based on this example I hope you can find a way to resolve this issue.

Hmmm, you're right. Thank you for pointing that out. I've consulted this problem with my seniors and they suggested that we revise the whole thing, including the weapon tier, rewards, etc... and create a damage scale for each weapon type. The whole thing is tedious work and will take a long time to finish.

Another suggestion is to just remove the Action/Move penalty. We'll go with the easiest ^^ Meaning, I'm removing the MOVE penalty for 2-H weapons.

^^ too lazy to switch accounts... Anyway, the damage of skills have been reduced. This is to shift the battle system to be more inclined towards PVP as oppose to PVE. ^^

2-Handed Weapons (2-H): Are usually Great Swords, Pole arms, Bow and Arrows, etc... 2-Handed weapons have stronger damage output, but they come with a MOVE penalty. They will add an additional cost to all your attacks and skills that deal damage, except for those with 0 Move point cost and deals no damage whatsoever, like buffs.




CHALLENGE QUESTS XP REWARDS

The harder the challenge quest, the more XP you'll gain. Win or Lose, the rewards formula remains the same. Because in FFMSL, we give rewards for effort.

  [No. of Checks]      x [Player Level] x10
[Total No. of Rolls]        

If a player rolls all Checks, then the XP bonus is doubled. (PERFECT CHALLENGE BONUS)


CONSOLATION XP REWARDS

Losing isn't such a bad thing anymore. If you lose a battle (PVE, PVP, STS, PTS) you'll still receive some XP. You'll get 25% of your DE (Differential EXP)

FFMSL Update:

Tweaked some skills, Conjurer Adept is no in the Conjurer Class.
Coup De Grace is now in the Others section.

Racial Bonusmmon Passive Set #7. It's not much but they're free so go get them. http://ffmsl.justboard.net/t640-passive-common#18786

3 new playable races will be arriving in Chapter 7: (Credits to @Hayase)

Ashimar: Sort of Demi-Gods, a mix between the Celestial Beings and Mortals.

Warforged: Artificial Lifeforms with souls.

Ancient Human: A  magical race of humans that had gone extinct hundreds of thousands of years ago, but has recently resurfaced.
